Project Overview

The Centers applied for Emerald Gives 2023. Emerald reviewed The Centers various sites across north east Ohio and ultimately the team decided to pursue LEED O+M at their Gordon Square location on the west side of Cleveland. This location offers a variety of services including daycare, pharmacy and work development. The building knows that it will pursue a major renovation in the medium term future and by pursuing LEED O+M they hoped to increase funding efforts for the building to continue sustainability efforts and standards. The project achieved LEED Gold using O+M v4.1 by tracking their performance in Arc and documenting policies and practices in LEED Online. The Centers unwavering commitment to sustainability meant a short break in the project where new ventilation systems had to be installed in order to meet the prerequisites and improve the ventilation for the occupants. The team's commitment paid off and they can now celebrate a third party verified sustainable building, achieving LEED Gold.
