The Cleveland Foundation
Project Overview
Located in the rapidly developing midtown area of Cleveland, OH, The Cleveland Foundation project sought to construct a space that would allow for the foundation to accomplish long-term goals of bringing together, supporting, and contributing to the city’s communities. The building is easily accessible by foot, bicycle, and public transportation, which allows the nearby population ease of access to the amenities, resources, and basic services that the foundation provides. To create the building plan and design, The Cleveland Foundation partnered with MidTownCleveland Inc., the Fatima Family Center, Baseball Heritage Museum on League Park, and the Hough Branch of the Cleveland Public Library, to facilitate community-led engagement and meetings. The result of this collaboration is a 2-story center, built with mass timber, low-emitting paintings, coatings, sealants, adhesives, and other building materials with sustainable value. The Cleveland Foundation, with help from Emerald Built Environments, was able to obtain LEED v4 BD+C Gold Certification.Services Provided
