Pitt Ohio- Parma Campus
Project Overview
Emerald Built Environments provided construction phase documentation and consulting services to streamline the LEED v3 BD+C certification. This campus site submitted several credits under the LEED Campus certification along with two individual building submissions for the Shop and Office/Terminal, which both achieved Gold. Emerald was able to help provide the team with documentation consulting for the construction activity pollution prevention and construction IAQ management plan credits along with material tracking services. The project achieved some great sustainability goals including 89% of construction waste was diverted from landfills in the process. 100% of the flooring is made of low emitting materials in both buildings. 18 bike racks with showers were installed to encourage workers to bike rather than drive to work.Owner:
