The Alcove at MadTree

Project Overview

The Alcove was part of a major 6,000 square foot renovation to a building on the historic register, built in 1873. The renovation included a biophilic design and the crafting of a beautifully landscaped patio nestled in an urban neighborhood. With a strong focus on sustainably sourced finishes, the project maintained 98% of the existing structure and is projected to save 37% on indoor water use annually. The project achieved LEED Gold Certification under the v4 LEED Interior Design & Construction rating system.
