Project Overview

Hathaway Brown won Emerald Gives for 2022 to receive complimentary LEED O+M consulting services. The project is a daycare, preschool, K-12 all girls school in Northeast Ohio that includes 215,110 square feet. The building is composed of multiple additions and sections conjoined to form one large building. The school was founded in 1897 and today serves 1,000 students and faculty. The school faculty and staff have an ongoing sustainability initiative and had previously looked into LEED O+M, however needed additional guidance to meet the full prerequisites. Emerald guided the staff with students' help through their sustainability course, to achieve LEED Gold for their full site. The staff felt the requirements aligned well to their ongoing sustainability goals and also helped formalize documentation for the building operations moving forward.
