Project Overview

CooperVision is a contact manufacturing company that has been certifying it's portfolio of buildings through LEED. These two projects Delta Park and Mountpark, are distribution and shipping warehouses located in the UK. Using LEED Operations + Maintenance v4.1, both projects are certified as LEED Gold. Delta Park included 151,432 square feet in Southampton and impacted 358 employees in the building. Mountpark included 102,590 square feet in Southampton, adjacent to Delta Park and impacted 243 employees. Using the v4.1 O+M process the project teams were able to improve indoor air quality, evalaute transportation emissions from employee commutes, establish energy and water use intensity baselines for ongoing tracking and evaluate waste. CooperVision hopes to leverage these successful projects and expand their LEED portfolio with more of their UK building locations.
