The Circle

Project Overview

The Circle is a 2.2 million square foot, 7-tower, single-connected building that runs off of geothermal energy. This multi-purpose development is adjacent to Zurich Airport, and consists of office space, a hotel, retail space, conference centers, a college, and a hospital. The building comprises over 90% glass with automatic shading that follows light levels produced by the sun. Emerald completed the energy model for this dynamic project, which achieved LEED Certification at the Platinum level under the v3 BD+C for Core & Shell rating system.
