Mike Minetto

What is your educational background? 

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University and my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from William Paterson University in New Jersey.  

What strengths do you bring to the Emerald team?  

With experience spanning multiple industries—including media, manufacturing, and hospitality, I bring a well-rounded approach to problem-solving and financial strategy. My time as an Accounting Manager at a large motor repair shop provided me with firsthand knowledge of job tracking and operational efficiency, allowing me to bridge the gap between financial reporting and real-world business operations. 

What is your proudest project moment, and why? 

One of my most rewarding accomplishments was developing a Debt Service Coverage Analytical Tool for the Director of Finance & Accounting at a real estate holding company. This tool provided critical insights for financial planning and decision-making, improving the company’s ability to assess and manage debt obligations effectively. 

Fun fact about you: 

I am a dedicated Rutgers football fan and enjoy playing chess during my downtime.
