WE’VE GOT HISTORY
Celebrating ten years
Emerald is celebrating 10 years! It would not be possible without all of our dedicated clients and the amazing projects on which we have worked. Together we have enjoyed collaborating with owners and their teams on new construction, major renovations and facility operations across all building types. Collectively we have touched hundreds of green building certification, building commissioning and green financing projects across the globe—North America, Europe, Africa and Asia—all from our home in Cleveland, Ohio. Scroll through a few of our many proud moments.

Partners Matt and Laura met each other while working on LEED certification projects in downtown Cleveland. Matt as building commissioning agent and Laura as Green Building Consultant. They were working on one of the first LEED projects in Cleveland, Ohio - the IMG Center, which achieved LEED EB O+M.

An den Bruecken in Munich became the first LEED Core & Shell v3 Platinum project worldwide and won the German Sustainability Oscar.

The Squaire at Frankfurt Airport, a LEED CS Gold certification, won the prestigious MIPM award which recognizes excellence and innovation in the international real estate sector.

Victory Center, a historic rehab in Cleveland, OH, saved $250,000 in construction costs through effective building commissioning processes.

Big River Steel in Osceola, AK became the first ever LEED certified steel production facility and in 2017 won the USGBC Green Tie award for Overall Best Project.

The Circle at Zurich Airport in Europe, a two million square foot mixed-used development, achieved 20% energy savings. EBE-led early energy modeling resulted in projected savings of over $600,000 USD annually.

We are specialists in the WELL Building Standard! We now have two WELL APs on our team and have completed WELL Performance Testing Agent training.

2019 brings to close several multi-year projects and many LEED Certifications. Included among them are Brookfield Properties Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, Tri-C Metro's Campus Center, and The Ohio State University's Lima Student Wellness Center.
